Sojourn on the East Coast

View from shore
On the Digby Ferry

Before departing for Frankfurt, and the first portion of our journey, Dan and I are staying in the East with his family for a week. These photos were taken in Digby (home of the best scallops), where we stopped before heading over to St. Andrews for a vacation. St. Andrews was one of the most beautiful places I've been. The cool air was absolutely perfect paired with the hot sun. The weather changed dramatically every half hour, but we were blessed with a beautiful weekend. We went kayaking Sunday morning, and I could see Jellyfish swimming all around me.

After reading your post, I have a sudden craving for scallops!
Looking forward to reading about more of your exploits in the blogosphere! Happy Canada Day, wherever you are!
